| Really? I've heard nothing but great things about it. Series 1, anyway. Everyone says Series 2 sucks..

| I would have to agree. The Death Note anime is EXTREMELY poor considering how good the manga was. I highly recomend the manga as it is the best one i have read.  | |

| The manga was very very good!
The anime is really lacking. I mean they make him writing names down look like a really amazing fast action but it isnt.

| It's very difficult to make a thought based manga into an anime. The last episode was rather suspensful since Naomi was killed by Kira in an epic mind battle. | |

| I agree with anyone who says the death note anime is of extremely poor quality compared to the manga. I originally got my hands on the manga thanks to t0ast and it was beautifully done. The anime is poor but if you don't mind the terrible voice actors and false epicicity (my new favorite word) then you might want to try it out. I watched all of the episodes, even though they were of low quality, just because I am a die hard death note fan. If you don't watching it in japanese the voice acting is way better, but it still is not as good as the manga. I am very dissapointed in it as I expected it to be good but it was not. If you like anime though I would reccomend, in this order, the following animes:
1) Cowboy Bebop
2) Fullmetal Alchemist
3) Naruto Shippuuden
4) Bleach
5) Naruto | |
